Borlotto Lingua Di Fuoco' is a mid-early string bean, with long, inflated pods containing 7 cream-coloured beans with red 'splodges'. It is an old Italian garden bean (Phaseolus Vulgaris). Traditionally, the mature seeds of the Borlotto string bean are used for vegetable stews. However, also the immature pods are harvested.
