The Common Vetch, also called Narrow-Leaf Vetch, is an indigenous legume and popular food plant that creeps up to a height of up to 80cm. For bees, its purple blossoms are a very good food source. Furthermore, the common vetch is suitable as an extraordinarily good plant for green manure and it enriches the soil with nitrogen.
