Oyster leaf, also known as sea bluebells, can be found growing wild on the coast of Scotland and Shetland. The fleshy leaves of this low-growing shore plant are rich in flavour, which is comparable to oysters, anchovies, mushrooms, and borage. The perennial plant flowers initially reddish and changes its blossom colour to light blue in early summer. It is very suitable for planting in rock gardens as it requires no special substrate. Austernpflanze 2016. Haben nicht gekeimt. Ich habe 2 Samen Kältestratifiziert, Sand ins Samentütchen, in Kühlschrank. Die fingen dort an zu keimen. Beide Pflanzen haben im Haus überwintert. Mal sehen wie sie jetzt wachsen.
