Solidstem burnet saxifrage (organic) (Pimpinella saxifraga)
A medicinal plant and kitchen herb with an aniseed-like aroma and expectorant properties, known for centuries and repeatedly forgotten. Good forage plant for moths and other insects.
Betony, Common Hedgenettle (organic) (Betonica officinalis)
Historical native wild perennial with many beautiful flowers in pink to violet, which feeds especially bumblebees. For many centuries it was regarded as a panacea.
Marsh-mallow (organic) (Althaea officinalis)
It is perfect as an ornamental plant for any cottage garden, as a container plant, decorates herb and flower beds and is a great food plant for bees. Above all, however, the marshmallow is a medicinal plant used since antiquity with mainly expectorant effect.
Thyme (organic) (Thymus vulgaris)
The characteristic flavour of thyme works really well for seasoning stews, soups, fish and meat dishes. Prepared as a tea infusion, it also helps to relieve diseases of the respiratory tract.
Marigold (organic) (Calendula officinalis)
Uncomplicated, colourful medicinal plant that has an anti-inflammatory effect and promotes wound healing. However, it also has many other excellent qualities.
Chamomile (organic) (Matricaria chamomilla)
An all-round talent among the old, traditional medicinal plants. Camomile blossom tea should always be available in the cupboard.
