The organically grown swiss chard variety 'Five Colours' is one of the most beautiful swiss chard varieties at all. With its colourful appearance, it's so decorative that this leaf vegetable variety can be planted into any flower bed without problems and that it suits the mixed cottage garden perfectly. The leaf colour can vary from light green to dark green to red. However, especially the stalks, which offer a great colour spectrum from white to dark red in soft pastel tones, are colourful.

Of course, 'Five Colours' is not only an ornamental plant. Swiss chard can also be used in the kitchen as an addition to a salad or, steamed like spinach, as a vegetable garnish in quiches, on pizzas, or also in soups.
