'Matina' is one of the earliest outdoor tomatoes and stems from South Germany. The fruits of the well-tried tomato plant are bright red, juicy, and very resistant to bursting. The foliage of the tomato is potato-leaved and it reaches up to 2 metres in height. Its taste is described as sweet and sour and its skin is pleasantly thin. Furthermore, it bears very rich until the first frost. Wonderfully suitable for beginners.
