The sky-blue Morning Glory 'Heavenly Blue' is a beautiful, climbing bindweed with beautiful light blue to violet blossoms. This plant originates from Mexico, where it grows perennially. As it's not hardy, morning glory is cultivated annually here. The breeding stems from Great Britain, where the plant is known as morning glory and has a long horticultural tradition. The special characteristic of this climber is its blossom. The bright blossoms open at sunrise and are already withered at sunset. However, as it continuously forms new blossoms, the splendour doesn't come to an end until autumn. Caution: The plant is poisonous in all of its parts! Kein Titel Dies ist fuer mich bei weitem die schoenste Winde. Monate lang hatte ich taeglich hunderte 10cm grosse, fantastisch blaue Blumen an meiner Suedwand. Die Jungpflanzen wurden bei einer Hoehe von etwa 50cm beunreuhigend bleich. Einige Wochen danach fingen sie aber urwaldaehnlich an zu wuchern.
