Common Buckwheat originates from Central Asia, especially from Mongolia.

By the cultivation of potatoes, common buckwheat as a food plant has been upstaged more and more. Only now, it's grown more and more again as increasingly more people devote themselves to a healthy and whole-food diet.
Common buckwheat is no corn and not related to wheat but belongs to the knotweed family.

Common buckwheat is an excellent honey plant and provides very high honey yields.

What many don't know - common buckwheat can also be eaten uncooked but should, for that reason, be germed. Like that, with its high protein content, it's a great addition to cereal.
On top of that, common buckwheat doesn't contain gluten what makes it interesting to people with gluten intolerance.

The content suffices approx. 5-10m².
