The distinguishing feature of cocktail tomatoes is their higher sugar content compared to the larger tomato varieties, and that's why they are perfect for snacking or for their use in salads, quiches and pasta sauces as a decorative, aromatic eyecatcher. Cocktail tomatoes are available in round, oval and pear shaped forms, as well as all the usual tomato colours.
