Meadow flowers, wild flower plant seeds

There is nothing as pleasing to the eye as the beauty of a naturally grown meadow with wild flowers, full of butterflies, bumble bees and hoverflies, enjoying the nectar and filling the air with their humming, buzzing and fluttering sounds.

Sadly in nature meadows have become increasingly rare due to agriculture but instead, we have seen a rise in popularity in domestic gardening, with a trend to turn away from the meticulously groomed English lawn in favour of meadows.
Once established, gardening work will become easier, as meadows only need mowing about twice a year. However, the soil in domestic gardens is often over-fertilised and too rich and will require leaning down first.
