Grain, corn & crop
Cereal is one of the most important basic foodstuffs worldwide. Of course you can also cultivate it for personal use in the home garden. In addition to traditional cereals wheat, barley, oats and rye, we offer their original and wild varieties and alternative gluten-free crops such as maize, rice, millet, amaranth and quinoa.
Cultivation itself is usually not very difficult, but the harvest is of course somewhat more complex. Grain must be threshed, and the many grains must subsequently be processed. Cereal is one of the first historically documented agricultural crops and was already cultivated 10,000 years ago - in Central Europe since 7000 years. Among the first cultivated varieties in Europe were einkorn, emmer and barley.
