Prairie gardens are inspired by the wide-open landscapes of the prairie grasslands. It’s a garden concept that blends grasses, flowers and perennials together in a living natural symphony. In nature, prairie plants often grow in communities or colonies and this is also reflected in prairie gardens. Plants are often planted in groups, imitating natural arrangements and interactions.
